Rudebusch to serve 30 days for burglary

Alexander “Sasha” Rudebusch, 18, of Mobridge will serve 30 days in the Walworth County Jail after pleading guilty to one count of burglary.

Rudebusch received an imposition of sentence and credit for time served at Walworth County.

He must pay $104 in court costs, attorney fees and restitution to the victims.

He must also maintain employment during his two years of probation and obtain his GED or high school diploma.

He will also serve two years probation and must adhere to the rules established by the court. If he should be caught breaking the rules of the court, the full sentence of 10 years in jail and up to a $20,000 fine could be imposed.

In exchange for the guilty plea, multiple charges ranging from vandalism to unlawful entry into a vehicle and petty theft charges were dismissed.

The charges stem from a rash of business and vehicle burglaries in the Mobridge area in November.
