Basket raffle to raise money for library addition furnishings

Two gift baskets, one themed “It’s a Girl Thing” and the other “An Old Fashion Date Night,” are being raffled in an effort to raise money for furnishings in the new addition to A.H. Brown Public Library.
Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. They are available at the library, Homespun, Western Rancher, Bridge City Florist and Coffee, Paylessfoods, Merkel’s Foods and the Chamber of Commerce. Tickets holders have the chance of winning one of the two baskets. The drawing is Dec. 12.
The “It’s a Girl Thing” basket contains an earring and bracelet set, body spray, lotion and two candles from Northside Flowers; $25 gift certificate toward a facial from The Hair Shoppe; 13-session tanning package gift certificate from Escape on Main; one-hour massage gift certificate from Becky Pfitzer; eyebrow waxing gift certificate from Guys and Gals Salon; $20 gift certificate for service from Ozsome Nails; warming/cooling flax eye pack from Homespun; red purse with gold accents from Miss Loxie’s Boutique.
“An Old Fashion Date Night” includes $35 gift certificate for flowers from Bridge City Florist; Calla English Toffee from Calla Candy; Hickory Creek coin pocket wallet from Western Rancher; Preferred Stock cologne and Adidas Moves Pulse perfume from Dady Drug and Ben Franklin; two movie passes with popcorn and drink from Mac Theater and Pheasant Drive-In; $25 gift certificate toward dinner for two at Windjammer Supper Club and Sports Bar; Songs in the Key of Red CD from Alco.
