Herreid-Selby Area put the finishing touch on a perfect Yellowstone Trail Conference season with a 54-42 win over Potter County in Herreid on Tuesday.

The fourth-ranked Wolverines controlled the action, leading by six, 12 and 21 at the first three quarter stops.

Abbey Fjeldheim led the YTC tournament and regular season champs with 17 points. Shauni Schwartz scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked six shots. Taylor Madden added four points and five steals.

Samantha Kilian led Potter County with 15 points. Allie Lake scored nine points and added four steals.

Faith rounded out a 16-3 campaign with a 57-50 win over McIntosh in McIntosh on Tuesday.

The game was tight until Faith pulled away late. The Longhorns outscored the Tigers 12-7 in the fourth quarter.

Summer Bailey led McIntosh with a game-high 26 points. She hit four three-pointers and added five assists. Tia Baumberger scored eight points and 10 rebounds. Heidi Vanlishout added eight points.

Tearnee Nelson led three Longhorns in double figures with 19 points. Shali Sheridan and Maddy Vance hit three three-pointers each and scored 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Timber Lake defeated Eureka-Bowdle 47-33 in Bowdle on Monday.

After falling behind 10-3 in the first quarter, Timber Lake turned the game around with a 23-6 run in the second quarter. Makense Nehl, Kristie Mettler and Courtney Dahlgren scored six points each in the second quarter.

Dahlgren hit five three-pointers and led the Lady Panthers with a game-high 18 points. Mettler scored 15 points, dished out four assists and blocked two shots. Nehl added six points and grabbed a game-high seven rebounds.

Sam Raile led Eureka-Bowdle with eight points. Haley Nelson scored six points and grabbed six rebounds.

Herreid-Selby Area rang up win 17, beating McIntosh 81-36 in Selby on Saturday.

The Lady Wolverines jumped out 18-7 in the first quarter and then went on a 26-6 rampage in the second quarter.

Kelsey Quashnick led five Wolverines in double figures with three three-pointers and a game-high 19 points. Shauni Schwartz scored 12 points, while Abbey Fjeldheim, Kendra Thorstenson and Jana Thorstenson scored 10 points each. Taylor Madden added seven points, six rebounds and five assists.

Tia Baumberger led McIntosh with 10 points. Summer Bailey scored nine, while Jessica Nehl and Shayna Mosbrucker scored seven each.

A 19-3 first quarter set the stage for the blowout.

Eleven Lady Patriots scored in the game. Haley Nelson led the way with a 17-point, 14-rebound double double. Sam Raile scored a game-high 18 points. Leah Wipf added 10 points.

Tabitha Schrenk led Aberdeen Christian with seven points.

Herreid-Selby Area won a battle of attrition in pulling out a 52-20 two-overtime win over Sully Buttes in Selby on Thursday.

Herreid-Selby Area rallied with a 9-2 run in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 42-42. Nothing could be decided in the first overtime before the Wolverines outscored the Chargers 6-4 in the second extra session.

Taylor Madden led Herreid-Selby Area with 13 points. Shauni Schwartz and Kendra Thorstenson scored 12 points each. Schwartz grabbed eight rebounds.

Karlea Stahl scored a game-high 20 points for Sully Buttes before fouling out. Chloe Lamb scored nine points and Remi Wientjes scored eight.

Eureka-Bowdle beat Edmunds Central for the third time this season, taking a 44-25 game in Bowdle on Thursday.

The Lady Patriots took a 13-5 lead in the first quarter and upped the ante to 14 points the end of the first half.

Sam Raile led Eureka-Bowdle with a game-high 16 points. Alexis Beck scored eight and Courtney Weber scored six. Haley Nelson led the team with seven rebounds.

Sarina Scherr led Edmunds Central with seven points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Elaine Schaible scored a team-leading eight points.

Timber Lake controlled the fourth quarter to beat McIntosh 50-39 in McIntosh on Thursday.

The Lady Panthers led 38-34 entering the final quarter. They grabbed the win by outscoring the Tigers 12-5 and making five of six free throws down the stretch.

Courtney Dahlgren led three players in double figures with three three-pointers and 15 points. Makense Nehl scored 11 points, while Kristie Mettler scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
