Two residents arrested on multiple drug charges

Mobridge Police arrested two individuals on multiple drug charges Thursday, Jan. 26, after they were alerted of a domestic situation.

Cheryl Loves War, 52 and John Morris, Jr., 41, both with Mobridge addresses, were arrested at a Fifth Avenue West residence after an emergency call from that residence.

Officers found marijuana (more than two ounces), drug paraphernalia, evidence of a controlled substance and other materials at that residence.

Loves War was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, intent to distribute marijuana, ingestion of a controlled substance other than alcohol, and possession of marijuana.

Morris was charged with domestic assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both have made their initial court appearances in Fifth Circuit Court in Selby and are currently being held in the Walworth County Jail.
