Jim Clausen always had something funny to say
Memorial Mass for James Clausen, 56, of Mobridge, was held Saturday, May 4, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
James passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
James (Jimbo) Clausen was born July 9, 1956, in Mobridge to Donald and Alice (Fischer) Clausen. He attended school in Mobridge.
Jimbo had numerous joys in his life. Besides family, he was an avid bowler and would never pass up a chance to bowl a lane or two. Jim liked to play ping-pong and thought he was the ping-pong champion. He will always be a champion in our eyes! Jim loved to ride motorcycle, swim in the Missouri River or anyplace else he could find water to be in. Jimbo loved music and movies. There was always a good movie to watch with him or music to listen to.
Our Jimbo was loved by so many people. He always had something funny to say, was always optimistic, never had a bad word for anyone and everyone was his friend.
James was preceded in death by his father, Donald; his brother, Allen; his grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
James will be missed and remembered by his mother, Alice of Mobridge; sister, Dianna Javers of Mobridge; brother, Joe (Wanda) Clausen of Billings, Mont.; his very special nieces, Allison Clausen of Bismarck, N.D., Monica Hinsley of Mobridge and Kira Clausen of Jamestown, N.D.; and great-nephews, Jayden and Carson Hinsley; along with numerous friends and family.
Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge was in charge of the arrangements.
