Delays change DOT plans for Grand Crossing project

By Katie Zerr-

Delays have caused the road construction project on East Grand Crossing and Highway 1804 to fall weeks behind schedule, according to John Villbrandt of the S.D. Department of Transportation.

He said although some of the work will soon be completed along Highway 1804, the work on Grand Crossing would change. He said the DOT is holding a meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 21 (today) to decide in how to change the plans to accommodate the subcontractors’ timelines with other projects in the area.

More information on these changes will be printed in the Aug. 27 edition of the Tribune.
