Spikers settle for seventh at CSDC tournament

The annual trip to the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament was a rough one for the Lady Tigers as they had to settle for seventh place in Miller on Saturday.
Mobridge-Pollock drew home standing Miller in the first round. The Rustlers topped the Lady Tigers for the second time this season in a 25-14, 25-22 match.
Faulkton Area got past the Lady Tigers 2-1 in the consolation round. All three sets were close. Mobridge-Pollock won 25-23 in the opener before Faulkton Area came back to edge the Lady Tigers 25-22 and 25-21.
Mobridge-Pollock stopped its two-set losing streak by working past Chamberlain 2-1 in the seventh-place match. Chamberlain took the early lead after holding on for a 27-25 win. The Lady Tigers turned the match around to win set two 25-19 and set three 25-22.
