Buddy Swanson and Jacob Hepper teamed to win the MPHS Fishing Tigers Ice Tournament on Saturday.

The team of Jacob Hepper and Buddy Swanson beat 17 teams to win the MPHS Fishing Tigers Ice Tournament on Saturday.
Hepper and Swanson teamed to catch 7.92 pounds of walleye to win $200. They also had the second largest walleye (2.01 pounds), which was good for a Mobridge Chamber coupon book.
Troy Stenberg and Lowell Looyenga took second with 6.84 pounds and picked up $125.
Tim, Tanner and Carson Quenzer took third with 5.77 pounds and won $75.
Joe, Caden and Carter Lenz finished fourth with 5.25 pounds and won $50.
The biggest walleye, a 2.09-pounder, was brought in by the team of Gilbert Mickelson, Adam Fiedler and Steve Chandler. The trio will share an HT Polar ice auger.
Jay Ritter and Brian Hanson caught the biggest non-walleye and picked up a $50 gift certificate from Paylessfoods. The pair also finished sixth with 4.9 pounds and won a Berkley spinning rod.
In addition, the 10th and 15th-place teams won $25 gift certificates from Bridge City Bait & Small Engines.
The 18 teams combined to catch 55 walleyes that totals 57.65 pounds.
