Miranda Scherr

Miranda Scherr, 33, of Mandan, N.D, died Feb. 15, 2014, at St. Alexius Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Bismarck, N.D.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb.19, 2014, at Weigel Funeral Home in Mandan with Deacon Bob Wingenbach as presider.
Miranda was born on Nov. 22, 1980, to John and Kathryn (Tomac) Scherr in Mobridge.  She attended grade school in Florida before the family returned to North Dakota.  She then attended school in Dickinson and Mandan where she received her GED.  Miranda moved to Florida for a short time and was employed with Lani Kai in Ft. Myers Beach.  After returning to North Dakota, she was employed with the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck as a waitress.
Miranda was a kind and loving person who would do anything for anybody.  If you were lucky enough to have called her your friend you knew she would do anything for you.  She was always the first one to offer help and friendship if her family or friends needed her. Miranda had a vibrant personality and it drew people to her as was evident with her number of friends.  Her family was central in her life with her pride and joy being her son, Porter.
Miranda will be deeply missed by her son, Porter; parents, Kathy Scherr of Mandan and John Scherr of Sheboygan, Wis.; grandparents, Bob and Betty Tomac of Watauga and Frank and Jan Scherr of Merritt Island, Fla.; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and some very special friends.
