Sisseton overpowers Teeners during Regionals in Milbank

Sisseton erupted for eight run in the third and 10 in the fourth to  defeat the Teeners 21-6 in the VFW Teener Regional Tournament in Milbank on Tuesday.
Mobridge had jumped out to an early 5-3 lead with a five-run second  inning. Mason Schoenhard led off with a double followed by walks to
Michael Davis and Dalton Faehnrich. Dylan Cerney hit a two-RBI double  before Nathan Bauer drove in two more runs with a single. Brady Greger  singled home Bauer with the fifth run.
Sisseton came roaring back with an eight-run third. Keanon Pikarski  had a two-RBI double and Christian Kirk drove home two with a single  during the rally.
A two-run double by Colbey Lehring and run-scoring hits by Pikarski, Carlson Archer and Kaeden Metz highlighted the 10-run fourth.
Cerney and Greger had two hits each for Mobridge. Stone Jensen hit an RBI double to score Bauer in the fourth.
Mobridge will play Big Stone City in the elimination game at 4 p.m. today. Milbank beat Big Stone City 22-5 in the opening game.
