Funeral services for Frank Broesamle, 92, of Mobridge, were held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge.
Burial will be Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at 2:40 p.m., MDT, in the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home.
Frank passed away, Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Golden LivingCenter in Mobridge.
Frank was born March 16, 1922, in Enid, Okla., to William and Edith (Bruhn) Broesamle.
Frank served in the United States Army during WWII with the 308th Bombardment Wing. The campaigns that Frank was in include the Archipelago New Guinea, Southern Philippines Luzon, receiving the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with two Bronze Stars. Frank was proud of his service during WWII.
Frank married Azalia Sudlow on May 20, 1966, in Hettinger, N.D. They moved to Mobridge in December of 1969.
He enjoyed working as an aviation mechanic for more than 60 years. He was passionately involved in the American Legion until his recent illness.
Frank is survived by two sons, Delvin  Sudlow of Mobridge and Vindel (Tina) Sudlow of Canon City, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Azalia on Aug. 3, 2001.
