Shayla Gayton of Kenel did her part in helping to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Thursday, Aug. 14, by purchasing a blizzard at the Mobridge Dairy Queen. The Dairy Queen franchises across the nation donate a portion of profits from each Blizzard sold on Thursday to the Miracle Network, an organizations that grants wishes to children. This year the Mobridge Dairy Queen sold 514 blizzards. In the past 25 years, the event has raised more than $80 million through blizzard sales.
