This upcoming election is more than just about the choice between two not-so-desirable presidential candidates, especially in South Dakota. Former Mobridge resident Clarence Gunther, 86, passed away on Sept. 6, 2016, in Colorado. Clarence D. Gunther was born on Feb. 1, 1930, in Gascoyne, N.D., the son of Carl and Helen (Maychzack) Gunther. He was raised in Gascoyne and Mobridge.
