Two Mobridge area locals brought home the cash during the Isabel Rodeo held Aug. 5-6. Jake Carmody took home first and $427 with a 69-point ride in the bareback riding. He is currently ranked fourth in the state standings. 

Big Zs Mod Squad earns Mad Dog award

The 24th annual Mobridge Demolition Derby thrilled the crowd Saturday, Aug. 5 with mud flying and engines roaring. Local Mobridge team Big Zs Mod Squad took home second place. Team members included Derrick Orth, Mike Duenwald, Joe Lehman and Chad Schroeder.

Ted loved to attend auctions and visit with friends

Funeral services for Theodore “Ted” Moser, 85, of Mound City were held Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Norway Lutheran Church in rural Glenham. He was buried at Mound City Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.
