Walworth County adds six positive COVID-19 cases

The South Dakota Department of Health report for Thursday, Jan. 7 shows there were there were 448 new positive COVID-19 cases in the state. There were 291 confirmed cases and cases and 157 probable cases. South Dakotans hospitalized with the virus fell to 264. The number of South Dakotans ever hospitalized with the virus is at 5,805. Art Sievert, 90, of Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away on Dec. 24, 2020. Funeral services were held. Art was born on Oct. 20, 1930, to Karl and Bertha (Gehrke) Sievert. He was raised in Mobridge.
