A Mobridge man charged with grand theft received a suspended imposition of sentence Monday, Feb. Feb. 3, in Fifth Circuit Court in Selby.
Ricky (Rick) Bolduan, 52, was ordered to serve three years probation and pay $136,829 in restitution to the victim. He must also pay $605.50 in court costs and fines and spend 30 days in jail, with one day credit for time already served. He is eligible for work release.
Bolduan must follow all rules set by the court services officer for his supervised probation including not possessing or consuming any alcohol or illegal drugs, is subject to warrantless search and seizure of person and property and is also subject to random testing for alcohol and drugs.
Bolduan must undergo a risk and needs analysis and follow through with all recommendations.
If he violates any rules of the probation the judge may order any sentence within the full range of punishment for the crime convicted.
