Cowboys lead All-LMC team


Six players from conference champion Lemmon/McIntosh headline the 2020 All-Little Moreau Conference Football Team.
Named all-conference for the Cowboys are seniors Cody Thompson, Carson Bailey and Isaiah Portwood, and juniors Tell Mollman, Talon Trogstad and Tanner Miller.
Four players each from Timber Lake, Faith and Harding County made the team. All-conference from Timber Lake are senior Hunter Schrempp and juniors Hank Kraft, Jayce Lawrence and Dixon Booth. Faith placed seniors Joel Gifford and Tyson Selby, junior Gabe Bushong and sophomore Matthew Grey. Named from Harding County are seniors Richard Long and Callan Long, junior Cayden Floyd and sophomore Grey Gilbert.
Dupree, Bison and Newell placed two players each on the team. Dupree had seniors Cinch Hebb and Hunter Stambach, Bison had seniors Rawlin Smith and Eli Harpster and Newell had senior Neuly Mahaffy and junior Chase Vanderboom.
Named honorable mention were: seniors Matthew Mollman and Jacob Hetzel of Lemmon/McIntosh; senior Trenton Hansen and sophomore AJ Lindskov of Timber Lake; seniors Brayden Price and Dawson King of Faith; senior Jace Klempel and sophomore Keegan Hett of Harding County; sophomore Tyler Stambach and freshman Treg Thorstenson of Dupree; seniors Gavin Nelson and Levi Krautschun of Bison; and junior Caleb McGregor and freshman Orin Bender of Newell.
Lemmon/McIntosh won the LMC crown with a 6-0 record. Timber Lake went 3-1, Faith 4-2, Harding County 3-2, Dupree 2-4, Bison 1-4 and Newell 0-6.
Because of COVID-19 cancelations, not all conference games were played.
