Louis Lipp spent 30 years supervising Portland warehouse

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, Louis Lipp, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 92.
Louis Harvey Lipp was born on Aug. 5, 1930, in Mobridge, to Mike and Maggie (Bosch) Lipp. Louis attended school in McLaughlin.
Louis served in the United States Air Force as Airman First Class.
He worked for Andersen Construction Company for 30 years as a warehouse supervisor in Portland, Oregon.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Louie enjoyed playing cards, rodeos, fishing, cooking and watching basketball games.
Louis was preceded in death by his father, Mike; his mother, Maggie; his first wife, Frances Klouse; three sisters, Annie, Geraldine and Alice; and one brother, Daniel “Bud.”
Louis is survived by his wife, Sharon (Zimoski) Lipp; son, Chris (Megan) Lipp; son, James Lipp of Portland; grandson, Malcolm; granddaughter, Frannie, of Spearfish; siblings, Albert, Robert, John, Donnie, Larry, Sandi Berg, Betty Anderson and Suzie Johnson.
