According to the national Weather Service, as of 12 a.m. Monday, April 15, Mobridge received just more than 8.5 inches of snow and 1.05 inches of precipitation in the storm that closed down most of northern South Dakota and nearly all of North Dakota.
Other snowfall totals in the area include 16 inches in Hoven; 8 inches in Selby; 9.5 in Bowdle; 9 inches in Mound City; 5.8 in Timber Lake; 9 inches in Eureka; and 10.8 in Aberdeen.
In Bismarck, N.D. 17.3 inches of snow feel during the storm. Roads in North Dakota are still closed this morning, including the interstates.
There is no school in the Mobridge-Pollock School district today, (Monday.)
