Terry Davis was cameraman for Mobridge-Pollock webcasts


Memorial services for Terry G. Davis, 73, of Mobridge, were held Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Family Worship Center.
Terry passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his home in Mobridge.
Terrance Gene Davis was born Feb. 14, 1940, in Emmons County, N.D., to Charles and Ruth (Schnabel) Davis. He was raised on the family farm there, graduating from Pollock High School in 1958.
Terry married in DeLila Meyer in 1959. They had four children, Ja Ray “Jay,” Teresa, Ritchie and Patrick.
While in Mobridge, Terry worked for the Mobridge Police Dept. and Coca-Cola before taking up construction.
Terry married Judy Kennedy in 1984, living in Rapid City until moving to Columbia Falls, Mont., in 1985. Terry worked several jobs there, including a cleaning business with Judy, JT Services. They cleaned numerous businesses for a number of years.
He and Judy moved back to Mobridge in 2006.
Terry was a big fan of Mobridge-Pollock High School sports and was the cameraman for Mobridge Tribune Webcasting. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Oahe, playing cards, collecting, auction sales and playing general manager for his fantasy sports teams on the Internet.
Those left to mourn his passing include his wife, Judy of Mobridge; children, Jay (Misty) Davis of Mobridge, Teresa (Bill) Scherr of Glenview, Ill., Ritchie Davis of Mobridge and Patrick (Dawn) Davis of Mobridge; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Dale (Wilma) Davis of Pollock, Judy Hanson of Pollock and Craig (Kathy) Davis of Sioux Falls.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson Grayson Davis, and brother-in-law, Roger Hanson.
Stout Family Funeral Home of Mobridge was entrusted with the arrangements.
