Traditional plants serve multiple purposes

It was a love of plants and a desire to pursue a higher education that originally brought Bernadette Terrell to South Dakota. After Bernadette’s four children were grown, she moved to Brookings to attend South Dakota State University. After graduating with a degree in sociology from SDSU, she moved to Mobridge to work with the SDSU extension program. Bernadette is currently the McLaughlin Site Coordinator for Sitting Bull College.
