Wet and cool conditions didn’t deter area residents from joining American Legion members at the Mobridge Cemetery, Monday, May 27, to start the Memorial Day Services. After the laying of the wreath and the 21-gun salute, the services moved to Greenwood Cemetery for further ceremonies.
Mobridge and Glenham Volunteer firefighters worked to contain the fire at a Fourth Street West location after it spread from the garage to the home. The garage and the contents were completely destroyed and the home was extensively damaged.
