News has been received within the hour that Black Hills, LLC has notified the State of South Dakota of its intention to close the Mobridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mobridge in January. We are currently working on gathering more information on this breaking story. Any information will be posted on our website and our Facebook page.

Snow Queen Pageant

There has been some confusion as to where the Mobridge Snow Queen Pageant will be held. The pageant will be at 7 p.m. at Scherr-Howe Event Center on Saturday, November 10.

SoDak 16 here Tuesday

The SoDak 16 volleyball match between the #1 Northwestern Wildcats and the #16 Harding County Ranchers will be played at Mobridge-Pollock High School Gymnasium on Tuesday, Nov. 6. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.

The City of Mobridge received news on Thursday, Sept. 20, that the federal grant for the rehabilitation of the Mobridge Regional Airport runways has been awarded. The grant, $4,099,775 will be used to reconstruct the runway, reconstruct the taxiway and rehabilitate runway lighting.
